The Brison clan, gathering from as far away as Germany and Oregon and of course Oklahoma, combined forces and invaded Skiatook Lake once again! Steve, Raymond, Shelton, Dexter and Isaiah (Flash) loaded up in the Predator at 8:00 AM this morning and after just a short jaunt to spot #1 we started soaking some fresh lively shad.
Didn’t take long before the first rod bowed down, then another, then another and it quickly turned into a fish catching FRENZY!!!
While we didn’t boat any big fish today, numbers were no problem and we caught over 60+ fish total keeping only the deep hooked or bleeding fish. Towards the end of today’s jaunt we kept enough fish to go in with a full 5 person limit and sent them home with 2 1/2 gallons of prime eating filets!
