Great Day on Skiatook!
Been chomping at the bit to get some trips going on Skiatook for some rod bending fun with the Hybrids, and yesterday was not a disappointment in any manner!
Took Joel Ray of JR Tile, his young son Cademon and three of his employees (Will Rogers, Richard (Tweet) Teeter and Craig Spencer out for somewhat of an employee appreciation day and everyone aboard (self included) had a really fun filled day of fish catching fun! As one of them said during the day, this aint just fishin, this is CATCHING!!
No problems catching a good limit of hard fighting Hybrids, some up to 5 plus pounds and catching and releasing a whole lot more! No idea how many fish were really caught and released, but we went through over a 150 baits without a problem!
All in all a super first of the year guided trip here on Skiatook and just goes to show a little homework, and a little time on the water pre-fishing can pay off!
