The “Best Laid Plans” sometimes just don’t turn out as planned and as a good friend of mine often says, “Some-days your the windshield, some days your the bug”! Yesterday, we were the bug, but it 
wasn’t a total failure, and it was a beautiful day to spend on the water!
I’d like to thank Trampas Cross with his son Cody and Scott Warnock with his son Parker (all from Enid, OK) for giving me the opportunity to guide them on a hunt for some of Skiatook Lakes hard fighting Hybrid Stripers!! While “hunt” for them we did, the hybrids were not to be found, but we did manage a couple of really nice smallmouth bass and put a couple grins on the boys faces and in the grand scheme of things spent a great day on the water, just getting away!
Thanks guys for puttin up with me (haha) and I look forward to the next time when we will get into them!!
