Truth is, , , , , I’d really rather be posting pics of “anyone” other than myself holding up fish to show, but my regular scouting buddy was tied up yesterday and today. I went to do some scouting by myself on Tuesday (beautiful Spring day) and talked my sweetheart of a wife into going along today. She makes great company, great photographer, and I had a ball helping and watching her catch some piggy Sand Bass and quality Keystone Stripers! Of course, , , , I had a pretty good time catching loads of both myself,
but I do get more satisfaction out of helping put others on fish and being there to assist them in the catching!
Most fun of the day was catching half a dozen 8 - 11 lb stripers in back to back to back casts in one area! That was a ball! All told we caught over 25 (27 actual I think) fish Wednesday (today) afternoon, 17 Stripers, the remainder were 2-4 lb toad Sand Bass!
Added in a picture of a BIG, 10 lb 3 oz Hybrid Striper I caught on Tuesday while fishing by myself!! Total time on the water was roughly 4 hours as it was just a scouting trip for an upcoming guide trip.
Only used artificial baits both days and I can’t wait to present some big lively shad in there to them, it ought to be GAME ON and provide loads of fun! We shall see!!
I have several days left open during Spring Break, so if your looking for something to do with the kids, or just needing to get out for a fun filled day of fish catching fun, be sure to contact me and lets set you up with a trip!! Stripers and the big Sand Bass make for some very fun and exciting “CATCHING” and provide excellent table fare to boot!!
Remember, ya can’t catch’em if ya don’t go, so give me a shout and let’s get you on the water soon!!
Tight Lines,
Steve
