Another good day on old Keystone Lake!! Had the pleasure of hosting Jim Cobbs and his son Michael on a day of fishing today! We’d planned to fish Skiatook Lake when Jim first contacted me about a trip, but due to the decline in catchable numbers of fish lately, we decided to move the trip to Keystone Lake instead, and a good move it was!
Hit the water shortly before 7:00 A.M. and in just a short time we were pulling Stripers over the side! Had a difficult time finding the under 20” fish at first, but after a move or two, we managed to find a few to round out a box of legal fish! Can’t say for sure how many over 20” fish we boated and released (lost count), but it was quite a few!
All in all a very successful day on Keystone, two happy fishermen and some very stuffed zip-lock bags of fillets to take home and enjoy!
Thank You Jim & Michael Cobbs!! Very much enjoyed having you in my boat today and hope to see you again in the future on another fun filled day of fish catching!!
