I have been making annual trips to Lake of the Woods, Ontario, Canada for the past 18 years. Over that period of time, I have arranged and taken a variety of groups from as few as four (4) to as large as twenty (20) on these excursions. The average trip has been for a period of five (5) days/ six (6) nights but there are many options and packages to choose from. While there we fish for a variety of species which include the elusive fish of a thousand casts the mighty Muskie! Typically we will be fishing for Smallmouth & Largemouth Bass, Crappie, Walleye, Northern Pike and Lake Trout. Catching literally a hundred plus per day of these species (with the exception of Muskie or Lake Trout) is not uncommon at all, and the scenery and wildlife sightings each day are simply amazing.

Our favorite time of the year to go is early Spring from late April until the end of June. Ice out usually occurs there around the first week of April and the fish move into the shallows to feed up in preparation for spawning. The place we go offer a variety of packages to suit your needs.
