Skiatook Guide Trip 5-21-10
Hello Fellow Fishermen!
Fished Skiatook Lake for Hybrids (Wipers) Friday, May 21st with Brent (birthday boy) Mike, Mike & Eric, a group of friends and co-workers! We started the day off at 11:00 AM due to weather related issues from two days prior and my lack of being able to get bait until the morning of the trip. The fishing & catching started just a few moments after we located a school of fish on a ridge in 30 ft of water and didn't slow down for several hours. It was one fish after another after another with several doubles throughout the day! Eric caught his first fish ever, then proceeded to put on a pretty impressive showing with his catching all day long! Everyone had a good time, plenty of fish were caught, but the bite slowed almost to a dead stop about an hour before the end of the trip. All in all a great day! The fish are biting, book a trip soon so you too can get in on the action!
