Sept Weekend Frenzy 9/24/11 (Sooner)

With a bait tank full of lively shad caught fresh at App Bay on Keystone, the Weekend FRENZY crew hit the waters of Sooner in search of lively Hybrids & Stripers at 9:30 yesterday morning! First stop produced only a couple of small hybrids and several pesky white perch, so on we moved to other locations on the lake. All in all I'd rank yesterday's fishing as mostly "FAIR", though there were a few hectic times scattered thru the day!! We fished live shad mainly, though we did try a slab or two during the day with only WP to show for that effort! Mainly we fished downlines but did have a freeline or two produce a couple of fish during the day as well! We kept only the gut hooked and bleeding fish and if memory serves me correct I cleaned 14 Hybrids, 2 Stripers, one really nice Crappie, and two blue cats!

I have to say that I truly enjoyed having the FRENZY crew aboard yesterday! Thank You Trent Alcot, Ed & Robin Schwers and Jeff Hutchinson!! I do appreciate your patience with me throughout the day as we searched spot after spot in search of active feeders!! Y'all were a lot of fun and I very much appreciate each of you!! Though not a big-un, Robin did catch her very first Striper on Sooner yesterday, hopefully the next one will dwarf it!!

Most all fish were caught in 19-30 fow, and water temps are cooled off a little down to the lower 70's!! It was great to see so many Notebookers and Striper Club members on Sooner yesterday!!
