Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas Fishermen & Fisherwomen!!

WOW, what a busy Fall it has been for me, sorry to say not fishing related though! Have been adding a room addition onto the house and that has kept me pretty occupied until now, it's done!! Woo-Hoo!!

The Blue Cats are moving into their winter holding areas and are starting to bite pretty well! Went out week before last with another guide for a "play day" and to do a little recon and found some willing blues to do battle with. No monsters, but did manage to each get our one fish over 30 inch fish each and a dozen more ranging from 3-10 pounds, so it was a good day!

Also went crappie fishing a couple of times this past week and was reminded of why I don't guide for that fish species! Caught quite a few actually, but many were well below what I'd call keeper size crappie, but did manage enough for a meal for myself & my wife!

The winter time Spoonbill snagging is in full swing again now! They are "stacked" like cordwood on Grand Lake and I have a trip to Ft. Gibson right after Christmas to find where they are holding there as well! If you have ever wanted to tie into a truly big fish, winter snagging is a ball, and it'll get your blood to pumping and keep you warmed up! Call today and get a trip booked!!

Again, Merry Christmas to one and all!! Wishing you the very best from the Hawker household!

Tight Lines!
