There’s an old saying, “There’s No Place Like Home”, and while I had an extremely fun and wonderful time during my annual visit to Young’s Wilderness Camp on Lake of the Woods, Ontario Canada, it truly is GOOD to be home again!
Met some very wonderful “New” folks (and made more new friends) on their first visit to Young’s this year, caught tons of toothy critters, ate like King’s every day and experienced some of the absolute best weather we’ve had up there in quite a few years.
It was so refreshing to wake each morning, slip out onto the deck with coffee in hand and watch a new day unfold on the pristine beautiful waters and shores of Lake of the Woods! Nary a sound of jet skis, wake-boarders or water skiers were heard or seen all week, only the eerie calls of the Loons, the many Pileated Woodpeckers busy at work
and the wide variety of ducks and geese as they went through their Spring mating rituals and tended to their nests! Ohhh, it was a wonderful trip for sure, but as is life,
all good things must come to an end for the season!!
If ever you’ve been looking for that “Special Place” to sneak away to, a peaceful quite, serene, beautiful place with GREAT fishing included, give Carol a call and set up your own escape to a place you’ll never forget!!
