I just LOVE hearing those words being hollered out from in the boat!!!
A great start to what’s going to be a fantastic Spoonbill (Paddlefish) snagging season! Had a great crew of fishermen aboard this past Saturday plying the waters of Grand River between Chouteau Bend and upper Ft. Gibson this past Saturday!! Lots of rod bending, line tightening occurrences during the six (6) hour trip coupled with lots of grunting,
woo-hoo’s, high-fives, grins, laughter and loads of “smack” talk!!
Had Dan Newman, his brother Chris, Grandson Jonathan & Son’s in Law Roy Jackson & Michael Bryant aboard for a fun filled family day! We hooked up on twenty one (21) Spoonies total, but only managed to get sixteen (16) aboard for pics,
laughter & fun! I did get some video’s of some of the “catching’s” and as soon as I get the videos uploaded I will post some of them here!
Looking forward to a great season of snagging, and with the numbers we found this early in the season I think it’s going to be great! Of the 16 fish we boated, average size was approx 50#, some bigger, some smaller, but all fun regardless, and all were released to swim away and play another day!!
I have one Saturday left open on the books for March (3/21/15) and plenty of opening for the month of April, so call today and get in on some of this fun filled, action packed fishing! Ya can’t catch’em if ya don’t go!
Tight Lines!
Steve
