Chouteau Bend With Luke & Friends (4/4/15)
Another fun day at “The Bend” with Luke & 3 buddies who’d never been snagging before & a fun day it was!! Didn’t set any records for number of Spoonbill snagged, but we boated 10 & hooked up on a couple more that came unbuttoned before getting them to the boat!
Lots of current flowing and lots of boat traffic on Saturday and depending on what area we were in, heavier traffic. Almost like combat fishing up close to the lowater dam so we didn’t spend a lot of time in that zone.
Best pattern for us was slow troll & jerk method but we hooked up on fish with cast & jerk and speed trolling too!
