Bent Rods, Tight Lines, What More Could You Ask 5/6/14

Yet another great day of fish catching fun on beautiful Skiatook Lake with a really fun couple from Wichita, KS, Leo and Cindy Hoadley. What a fun couple, and they really had some great competitive fun trying their best to out-fish each other! This was their first Hybrid Striper outing, but I get the feeling it won’t be their last!!

No problem with catching a limit of Hybrids, plus putting quite a few more hard fighting Hybrids over the side of the boat to be released to fight again, but we did end up a couple fish shy of over 20″ fish to clean because of keeping a couple of under 20″ fish that were gut hooked & bleeding. Great fun plus a great couple made for a GREAT day on beautiful Skiatook Lake!! I love it when a plan comes together and folks get to experience something new, exciting and fun and go home with a bag full of delicious eating Hybrid fillets!
