Snagging Fun (3/20/14)

Had loads of fun and laughs with Dan Newman, his grandson Jonathan and good friend (mutual) John Moss on Chouteau Bend on my first (of the year) snaggin trip!! Conditions were slightly less than ideal with fluctuating water flow (releases) and pretty stout SW winds, but overall it was a great day to be on the water, and best of all we didn’t come back in with the “skunk”!

Took a little while to find them somewhat stacked up with the water flow the way it was, but once we did, and figured out the right troll snagging pattern, we managed to get into some rod bending action and put some bigger smiles on faces!

Thank You Dan, Jonathon and John for spending a day on the water with me! Looking forward to the next one with you on the 29th!!
